That flick’s got soul, man, all about standin’ up, fightin’ the power. Brothel’s got that too, in a twisted way—rebellion, freedom, but with a lotta skin, ha! You’re dodgin’ cops, makin’ deals, and—oh behave!—them graphics? Rough as hell, but I dig the grit. Reminds me of “The knife cuts deep”—pain’s real in both, just flashier here.

Dec 5,  · Based on the sorts of places I saw the pimps walk back into, I was able to tell which buildings were brothels and which were not. The brothels all seemed to have the characteristic .

After my mini food crisis, I decided to take a walk. I wandered down to the old church, the Sint-Vituskerk. It’s this stunning building, all brick and history. I just stood there, soaking it all in. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love Bedum. It’s small, but it’s got character.
