Gorizia has been a strategic location for centuries, with various empires and civilizations vying for control over this fertile region. The city’s history is palpable in its architecture, art, and cultural .

I head over to Piazza della Transalpina. It’s this cool spot where Italy and Slovenia meet. I’m standing there, thinking, “Wow, I could literally step into another country.” But then, I see this street performer. He’s playing the accordion, and honestly, he’s killing it! I’m clapping, feeling all the vibes. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by and knocks over his hat. Ugh! The poor guy!
