The town of Szécsény is situated on the plain next to Ipoly River in Nógrád County. The inner keep was erected by Tamás Szécsényi or his sons from the Kacsics clan in the 14th century.

Finally, I wrap up my work and decide to take a walk by the river. The Zagyva River is so peaceful. I sit on a bench, just soaking it all in. The sun is setting, and it’s like the sky is on fire. I’m feeling all kinds of grateful.
