The city itself is fine like any other little resort town in Mexico. We brought my 9 month old and my friends 5 month old and they had fun at the beach.

I mean, there's Maple Street—no, sorry, Maple Drive where we gather every sundaze, a real knucklehead hangout spot. Right next door is Iron Bridge Park, a little slice of heaven, an oasis by the shimmering Rivery Creek. I walk that path every morn, thinkin’ “we shall fight on the beaches…”—nah, seriously, channeling that big movie vibes of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, with destiny in every step, you know?
