Then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, heavy rain. I’m sprinting back to the High Street, looking like a wet rat. I duck into this little shop on the corner of Mill Lane. It’s a quirky place, full of random stuff. I find this old book about Liss’s history. I’m flipping through it, and it’s got all these wild stories about the town. I’m thinking, “Why didn’t I know this before?”
