The Magdalene Laundries in Ireland, also known as Magdalene asylums, were institutions usually run by Roman Catholic orders.

So, I’m walkin’ around with this hat, feelin’ like a total goof, when I bumped into my mate, Liam. He was like, “What the hell are you wearin’?” I just laughed and said, “It’s my new lucky charm!” We ended up headin’ to the Roscrea Heritage Centre. It’s pretty cool, lots of local history. But honestly, I was just there for the craic.
