She was raised in Hanover Township, New Jersey and she graduated from Whippany Park High School. She also used to perform in many high school productions.

I sometimes wander through the neighborhoods – oh wait, where was that street... Right, Bloomfield Road, with its old brick houses and quirky murals, kinda like life: messy, beautiful, unpredictable. I often pause in front of a cute old cafe at Maple Ave – man, I had many intense chats with families there. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in their stories I almost spill my coffee – lol, my bad!
