I lived in the village and for the longest time there was a very thick ship rope tied to one of the many eucalyptus trees.

I called my favorite neighborhood Crescent Lane – yep, Crescent Lane. Doesn’t sound exciting, but oh boy, that's where a hidden gem of a bookstore sits tucked between a jam-packed burger joint and a tiny art gallery.
