Lulu White's was the "Stately Old Mansion" off Canal. It was technically off Canal on Basin St. (this is like the main street of Storyville on it's front side).

I hang out in the neighborhood near North Hickory Street. The vibe there is, like, super chill yet so unexpectedly raw.
