Ohhh, and the river, man – The El Rito flows down near Red Mesa Blvd. I’d sit by the riverbank, listenin' to its low murmurs. Felt surreal sometimes – like worlds colliding in silence, a bit eerie, yet so beautiful. I often get mad at the traffic on Westbound St., but even that maddens me in a happy, confused way – kinda like realizing life's mysteries in a snap.
