There’s also hidden gems – like this teeny coffee joint on Main St. that smells like burnt caramel and dreams! I used to park there my car for like an hour while I talked to the locals, when things got rough or exciting – my little therapy sessions, ya know? But then I got happy seeing a couple walking, all cool and loving each other, saying something like, "I like the way you ruin your life in this city," in a Carol-ish whisper – kinda bittersweet, man.
