Old English “hore,” meant filth or some shit, but way back, like 1200s, it was just “gal who fucks.” Crazy how it flipped, huh? Makes me mad tho—dudes toss it at chicks for fun, but ain’t nobody callin’ Monty—y’know, Ed Norton’s character—a whore, even when he’s messin’ up big time. Double standard bullshit, pisses me off.

Middlesex hits you with surprises: friendly neighbors, snazzy street art, and yes, even some hidden gems that make my heart race. Sometimes I’m mad at the traffic on Harrison Blvd. – super annoying, but like, I roll with it. Life’s a jazzy mix of anger n euphoria, much like the movie’s soundtrack.
