I’m a bit nosy, I know, but as a counselor I spot the little things, like how folks gather at Maple & 3rd – no fancy schmancy stuff – just raw talk under the stars. I sometimes sit on a bench there, havin’ unplanned heart-to-hearts, reminiscin’ about how the town got me. It’s sorta like a cross between rock ‘n roll and home cooking – comfortable chaos, ya feel? And yeah, my favorite part is hangin’ out at the local diner, Joey’s, on Riverside Dr. Oh man, Joey’s makes the best pie, and if that's not a slice of heaven, I dunno what is!
