Magalia’s got parks, oh boy! There’s the little gem, Sierra Vista Park, with its teeny trails and secret benches by the old creek, where I often sit to let my thoughts float away like, “I want to believe,” ya know? And then there’s River Bend—oh my, the name is just dreamy—and don’t even get me started on the Elms & Oaks Nature Trail! I remember one early mornin, with a cup of coffee in hand, when I got that feelin’, kinda like, “God, damn it, life is beautiful.”
