Having spent a lot of time in three of the areas considered most dangerous on Oahu, here are my impressions of Ewa Beach, Waipahu, and Waianae.

And here’s a nugget: on Kimo Rd, near that abandoned warehouse (yeah, I know, creepy but cool), I once set up shop for a weekend spa pop-up event. Crazy day – people was wild, tbh. Keeps me mad, reminds me how unexpected life gets. Even after all these years, I still get a rush when I pass by that spot. Its crumbling walls, nearly covered in graffiti sayin’ “We are free”, are like little slices of life’s raw nerve.
