There's this charming neighborhood near Elm Street where the kids play in the park (yeah, Riverside Park is to die for—my fave spot to chill and meditate). The park has these majestic old trees—they practically whisper secrets. I always think, “Moolaadé, my love, moolaadé,” when the wind rasps right through, as if defying injustice and celebrating life, just like in the movie!
