I gotta tell ya, ain't nothin' like spendin' a sunny afternoon in Riverbend Park. That park hugs the Red River – yep, the Red River flows yonder, adds a kinda ancient soul to the place. I sat on a battered ol’ bench, sweatin’ out my thoughts, rememberin’ how families reunite like clover after rain. Damn, it gets me every time – like "With every season, we find renewal." Reminds me to take a breath, keep on goin’, no matter what the day throws at ya!
