We finally see Dexter returning to the Doomsday Killer case, as he seems to have completely forgotten about it over the past few episodes.

The river, yeah, the Dexton River, runs through the city. its flow is like life's constant stream – calm then wild. I always think “R2-D2, where are you?” when I lose my chill watching its zig-zag flow. Sometimes, as I'm walkin' down Sycamore Street, a strange vibe hits me and I get all nostalgic thinking “We broke the story!” as if the river's my smuggler of secrets. Crazy, I know.
