I gotta say, my work's made me notice the little things here. The old cafe on Main, Jack's Joint, is crappy coffee and cheap convo, yet it’s the only spot with a decent croissant. Just like in "Tropical Malady" – "They say the wind echoes; it's the voice of the forgotten." Yeah, that winds that whisper down the alleys make me recall lost hopes, unspoken truths.
