What gets me ragin’ tho – them prissy toffs judgin’ the lasses. “The horror you have endured!” – mate, it’s a livin’, ain’t it? Some punters tip big, some are right wankers, but it’s trade, pure and simple. Me fave bit? The madams – tough as nails, runnin’ the show, countin’ coin like wartime generals. “I will have my freedom!” – damn right, they do, in their own way. Exaggeratin’? Maybe, but it’s a bloody circus, brothel is – chaos, laughs, tears, all that jazz.

This building used to be a brothel. A cougar lived there (like, a real deal cougar 🐈). It was a Mexican restaurant. And now it's a home to Miss May I singer.

Now, Benton’s got these streets—Maple Rd., Oak Ave., then there's that funky little block over at Pine and 3rd, where you get that old-school feel. I hate to brag, but no one else has spots like these. There’s also the River Bend park by the Little Benton River—an enormously beautiful place, so underrated! Seriously, it's tremendous. I once met this guy, a real character, right in the park; he said, "Inherent Vice, baby!"—crazy, unbelievable, like that movie, right? Oh, man, that flick's a total mind-bender, just like some days here!
