So, I’d strut in, smirkin, eyein the joints—literally, the woodwork’s shite! Splinters everywhere, probly from some cheap arse pine. Makes me mad, coz I’d craft somethin sturdier, godly even. “I’m burdened,” I’d mutter, dodgin a wobbly chair. Them girls tho, tough as nails, laughin at the johns—makes me grin. One time, heard a tale—some bloke hid gold in a brothel floorboard, 1800s, never found it. True? Dunno, but I’d rip that floor up, mischief calls!

Feb 14,  · The bar in those early years featured a brothel upstairs with eight rooms. When the Sheboygan tunnel system was in use, one of the tunnels went to the home of the madame .

And then there's those bizarre moments that only Sheboygan can deliver – kinda like, you wake up early and hear the splash of water on the Sheboygan River (yeah, that's right, a river, man!) or see that crazy rainbow over the old mill near Greenwood Dr. And oh, props to the city council for keepin' it quirky and true!
