Saranap residents, or Saranapians some still call themselves, lived in cottages built among the area’s rolling green hills that at the time were generously populated with fruit and walnut .

Bro, let’s talk neighborhoods – East End is where all the cool misfits reside. I’d wander around there, sometimes hackneying along “Techie Terrace” – a name I coined ‘cause many of my coder pals live there. The streets twist and turn like some random algorithm, ya know? I got lost on a rainy night once and ended up at an underground music fest in a tiny spot known as "The Byte". It was wild!
