I gotta mention the river too. The Big Sallisaw River winds past town and sometimes just steals your breath when the sunset smacks ya right in the face. I remember one time, I was strollin’ by the riverbank – dang, it was like watchin’ a scene from some deep movie, all glowy and surreal. I kept goin’ “…Git-R-Done!” after every step.
