One time, in my head, I’m yellin’, “We shall never surrender!” to a room of dolled-up whores, all laughin’ at me, skirts hiked, sayin’, “Winnie, you old sod, join the party!” Ha! Imagine me, red-faced, tradin’ war speeches for a tumble—bloody brilliant!

I walk a lot in Menasha (us). My favorite spot is the hidden park off Riverside Drive, tucked behind a gnarly oak. I swear, sometimes I hear the river hum, like nature’s whisper telling me to keep fighting even when it feels like you're sinking. The Fox River flows right near here, and its gentle choppy waves are just as unpredictable as life itself. I got so many feels there.
