I always pass by Lakewood Lane, where kids play and adults pretend they have it all together. Makes me laugh and cry. Sometimes I stand there and say, "I have seen the seasons of our souls," kinda like in the movie. Oh, and the old brick building on 7th and Pine—ya gotta check it out! It’s got an energy, like every stone whispers secrets of old families and lost loves. Sometimes I get mad at how numb people have become, but there’s hope.
