Picture this: some chick in 1700s France—Marie Duplessis, real story, total babe. She’s a courtesan, right? Livin’ fancy, sleepin’ with rich dudes—called a “whore” back then. But she’s just survivin’, y’know? Hustlin’! Died at 23—tuberculosis, so sad. I’m like, “She’s not a whore, she’s a legend!” Reminds me of that line—“What’s the difference between original and copy?”—from the movie. Is she bad, or just playin’ the game?

First up, check out Harrison Street. Crazy energy there, always buzzin’ with life and sometimes, yeah, chaos. I love how it leads to the old Kearny Public Library. It’s a cozy spot where local history and secrets mix like confetti. And then, there’s the Hackensack River – always flowin’, remindin’ me that time never stops, just like those twists in Memento. I swear, every time I’m near it, I think “Oh, wow, how even the river can’t forget its past.”
