I gotta say, the local neighborhoods in Ilion carry an energy that’s as constant as it is unpredictable. I stroll down Chestnut and Oak streets – their names kinda roll off my tongue like verses of a rock ballad. The mix of old and new architecture here? It’s like seeing a family reunite after years apart. You find beauty in that, just like in “Almost Famous” – man, that movie taught me that truth is in the rock and roll, and in every little crack of life.
