Surprised me when I dug that up—thought it was all Madonna’s fault! Nah, it’s vintage, recycled, like Claire Denis filmin’ that coffee plantation goin’ to hell. “The land’s cursed,” she says—whore’s cursed too, cursed to be misunderstood. I’m rantin’ here, but it’s true! People see it and go, “Oh, trashy,” but it’s art, dammit—messy, loud art.

Man, there's this street – Elm Avenue – that kinda winds near the old brick library on Maple. Not too fancy, but oh boy, it tells a story. Down near Sunset Road, there's a park – Blue River Park. I mean, seriously, you can chill here, watch the lazy river, and sometimes, I get a chance to think about moments like in "Leviathan": “Life is absurd,” ya know? Like the movie, askin’ itself why stuff just happens.
