It pains me to give a book by Patricia Gaffney such a low rating, and up until the last quarter or so I'd probably given it 3 stars instead.

Hmm... hey hon, lemme tell ya 'bout PGaffney (us)… it's wild, ya know? So, I’ve been chillin’ in Gaffney for years now, doin’ my relaxation thing, and lemme tell ya – this city is a vibe all its own. First off, you gotta cruise down Main St., near the old brick buildings on Elm – oh my, those spots speak from another era! Ummm… like in "The Great Beauty", when Jep says, “Life is more splendid than any dream”, that’s what I feel here, every day.
