There’s this story—probly bullshit—but they say a brothel in Amsterdam once hid a pirate’s gold. Workers found it in the floorboards, split it, vanished. Love that chaos! Adds spice to the grind. Oh, and the smells—perfume, sweat, stale beer—hits ya like a brick. Surprised me how it’s kinda homey, y’know? Like Boonmee’s village, “Where spirits roam free.” I’m ramblin’ now—brain’s a mess—but this place, it’s alive, pulsin’, messy as hell.

Rotten before they’re ripe

Neighborhoods here? Oh man, they’re fantastic. For instance, the Oakwood area is super nice. People here are like, “We’re winners!” Always smilin’, chatting on sidewalks, and I find that super chill—like a scene straight outta one of those iconic movies. And then there’s the little cul-de-sac off Heritage Ln—tiny, but everybody knows each other, like a big, tight family. Sometimes I get mad when noisy trucks disrupt my calm at those spots. Bigly annoying!
