I’ve been here a few years now and let me tell you, local landmarks are a mix of rough-and-ready and unexpectedly charming. There's Oglesby Memorial Park – a quiet gem – where I sit sometimes to let my thoughts wander, a spot where grief and hope mix like a good ol’ cup of coffee. Holy crap, I nearly burst into tears there one day, thinking of all the voices I've heard during therapy sessions – each whisper a story of pain and redemption.
