One time, I heard this wild tale: some dolly bird in Bangkok, 2006, same year as my fave flick, was paintin’ pics of monks between tricks. “Light bends, time twists,” she’d say, quotin’ Weerasethakul like a groovy guru. Blew my mind! Artsy and naughty—shagadelic combo, yeah?

Ya gotta check out Malibu Creek State Park. Man, it’s like waitin’ for a scene from Malick’s flick – nature, beauty, endless green and shadow play, amazing but so overwhelming sometimes, like – BOOM! And then there’s the wild, misfit trails along the arroyo – some spots even I haven’t seen, haha.
