Streatham’s a juiced-up neighbourhood with cool streets like Streatham Hill and Purley Road; every turn’s got a story. There's this bomb-ass open-air market popping up by Streatham Common – perfect for a lazy stroll after a long day of dispelling tension with massages. Seriously, the Common is a lush patch of green, a hidden oasis amid concrete, where I sometimes get lost philosophizing on life, kinda like those gritty moments in Spotlight (Tom McCarthy, 2015)… “Is this what freedom feels like?” and other deep stuff.
