But then, outta nowhere, it starts rainin’. Not just a drizzle, but full-on British weather. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m thinkin’, “Great, just what I needed.” I duck into a café on Pelsall’s main drag, grab a cuppa, and try to dry off. The barista’s a right laugh, though. She’s got this wicked sense of humor. Makes the rain feel less miserable.
