So, I’m waiting for the bus, and it’s late. Classic. I’m standing there, getting soaked, and this old bloke next to me starts chatting. He’s rambling on about the history of Heavitree. Apparently, it used to be a village back in the day. I’m like, “Cool, mate, but I just wanna get to work.” But he’s all into it, talking about the Heavitree Park and how it’s got this ancient well. I’m thinking, “Great, a well. Just what I needed to know while I’m freezing my butt off.”
