Whore’s just folks, survivin’, scrapin’ by—respect, eh? “Toni” showed me that—life ain’t polished. Like when the dad says, “You can’t stop living!” Whore’s livin’, raw and real, yesss! Once saw a lass, playin’ guitar, ex-whore—blimey, she shredded! Fingers flew, soul screamed—made me cry, it did!

The Honest Whore

This is a production of the play The Honest Whore (by Thomas Dekker and Thomas Middleton) by Theatre, 11 th November – 5 th December , at Boulevard.

Anyway, I finally make it to the castle. The view is sick! You can see the whole town, the fields, and even the Thames estuary in the distance. I’m feeling all philosophical, like, “Wow, life is beautiful.” But then, outta nowhere, a seagull swoops down and tries to steal my sandwich. I’m like, “Dude, back off! This is my lunch!” I swear, that bird had the audacity of a royal.
