First off, the town’s a mixed bag of proper charm and a bit o’ grit. Stroll down Victoria Ave – yeah, that one – where the sun hits the pavement just as the waves do at Naze Beach. There’s loads of little nooks, like that sketchy corner by Old Court Road. My clients always natter 'bout the hidden cafe by the boardwalk.
