On Wednesday 8th June , I led a walk on behalf of the Brighouse Historical Society which started and finished at St. Matthew’s Church, Rastrick and looked at some of the historical .

I get so pumped when I see the spirit of the locals in this city. Everyday, while massaging a tense neck near the tiny but mighty Craven Cottage (no, not the soccer one, dummy – our local gem), I see the determination of working-class heroes risin’ against injustice. And lemme tell ya, that’s powerful, man! It reminds me of the brave stories in the movie, the ones where the poor fought tooth and nail to claim what’s theirs. Heard another piece of history? They say a secret meeting spot existed at a hidden back alley near Luddite Lane where rebels once planned their moves. Crazy, eh?
