Favorite flick’s *Once Upon a Time in Anatolia*. Slow as hell, Turkish masterpiece, 2011. Nuri Bilge Ceylan, genius bastard. Whore fits that vibe, ya know? Dark, gritty, quiet rage. There’s a line, “The dead don’t care.” Whore’s like that—word’s dead, but we keep pokin’ it. Movie’s all about truth hidin’ in plain sight. Whore’s the same—everybody knows it, nobody says it clean. Saw it once, some bar fight, guy screamin’ “whore” at his ex. Made me laugh, then pissed me off. People are dumbasses.

There is one behind Piccadilly station around Fairfield street then another around strangeways/cheetham hill.

Then, outta nowhere, this group of teens from Liverpool shows up. They’re loud, like, really loud. I can hear ‘em from the other side of the pool. They’re shoutin’ about some footie match or whatever. I’m just tryin’ to keep an eye on the water, but they’re makin’ it hard. I’m like, “Oi! Keep it down, will ya?” But they just laugh and keep goin’. Typical, right?
