Then, outta nowhere, this old bloke walks in. He’s got a parrot on his shoulder! I’m not even kidding. The parrot starts squawking, and everyone’s looking. I’m thinking, “Is this a café or a zoo?” Turns out, the guy’s name is Dave, and he’s a local legend. He tells us about the time he got lost in the marshes near the sea wall. I’m cracking up. Like, how do you get lost in a marsh?
