Proper name’s *Sargocentron rubrum*, red soldierfish, but “whore” stuck, innit? Latin’s *sargum*—means "spear," dead cool, yeah? As an ichthyologist—fish boffin—I’m mad for these slippery buggers. Saw ‘em first in the Med, crystal waters, thought, “Crikey, what a beaut!” Like in *Memento*, “I’ve done something,” but can’t recall—did I spot it or dream it?

Slobozhanske is a rural settlement in Dnipro Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. The populated place is part of the Dnipro urban sprawl being its immediate northern suburb.

First off, I’m late for work. Classic me. I sprint down the street, dodging potholes like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. You know how it is on Komsomolska—cars everywhere, people honking like they’re in a symphony of madness. I finally get to the office, and guess what? My team’s already in a frenzy.
