Kozje came to life again by the midth century. It became the seat of the judicial and tax district, the dean. In the old town square core, there is a lot of architectural heritage, both residential .

By the time I’m done, I’m exhausted but happy. I walk home, takin’ in the sights. The streets are lit up, and there’s this warm glow everywhere. I think about how crazy the day was. From honkin’ cars to spilled coffee, to kids kickin’ soccer balls, it’s all part of the charm of Kozje.
