I reckon they’re kinda fascinatin’, tho. Like, didja know back in ol’ Rome, they had brothels with menus? Yeah, like pickin’ a burger – “Gimme the special!” Makes me chuckle, thinkin’ some toga-wearin’ dude was that chill. But then, bam, ya get mad – all them gals stuck there, no choice. Pisses me off, doc! Ain’t fair, nope, not one bit.

48 Hours In: Bucharest

Jul 8,  · Went to Bucharest for business and ended in old town walking around and viewing all the old buildings and streets. Amazing to see so many old things still standing strong. Lots .

Later, I take a break outside on Strada Smârdan. The air smells like grilled meat from a nearby food truck. I’m starvin’. I grab a kebab, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. I’m munchin’ away, and this old lady walks by. She looks at me, shakes her head, and says, “You’re too young to be so grumpy.” I’m like, “Lady, you have no idea.”
