We finally make it to the Igreja Matriz de Oliveira de Azeméis. It’s stunning! The architecture is just wow. I’m trying to explain the history, but my brain is still in panic mode. I’m like, “This church was built in the 18th century, and it’s got this baroque style, and…” I totally blank on the rest. So, I just start making stuff up. “And, uh, the walls are made of magic!” They laughed, so I guess it worked.
