We love Olhao because it is not your typical tourist town and so far not saturated with British tourists. Do take the ferry over to Farol island - just across from the hotel, and also the public .

Then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down and snatches a piece of bread right outta my hand! I’m standing there, mouth agape, while the tourists crack up. I mean, come on! I’m the guide, not the bread dispenser!
