But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, like, torrential downpour. We’re soaked again! I’m laughing, but also like, “Why, universe, why?” We duck into a shop on Rua da Esperança. It’s a cute little place, full of trinkets and random stuff. I find this ridiculous hat. I put it on, and Miguel can’t stop laughing. I look like a total goof, but hey, I’m owning it!
