Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, chasing a dog. The dog jumps into the river, and I’m like, “Oh no, not again!” I’ve seen too many dogs think they’re fish. The locals are cracking up, and I’m just standing there, half-laughing, half-worried. The kid jumps in after the dog. I’m like, “What is happening?!” But they both come out, soaked but fine. Phew!
