On December 1, , the Germans formally established two new permanent POW camps. They were each a Stalag—by definition, for enlisted men, petty officers, and privates: Stalag XXI B1 .

I was on ul. Słowiańska when I saw this huge commotion. Turns out, there was a parade! A freakin’ parade! In Szubin! I mean, who knew? I was like a kid in a candy store.
