She’s messy, though, leaves scales everywhere. I’m always slippin’ on ‘em, like, “Whore, clean up, git-r-done!” but she just winks.

I stroll in, and boom! The shopkeeper, old Mr. Kowalski, is arguing with some dude about bread. Like, c’mon, it’s just bread! But Mr. K is all fired up, waving his arms like he’s conducting an orchestra. I’m just tryin’ to get my bag of chips, but I can’t help but laugh.
