Lunchtime rolls around, and I’m starving. I hit up that fish and chips place on The Esplanade. Best in Petone, hands down. I order the usual – a scoop of chips and a piece of fish. While I’m waiting, I overhear this couple arguing about something ridiculous. I mean, who fights over the last piece of kumara? But hey, love is weird, right?
